Why Headsets and Controllers Are Not Enough
Many VR training systems can recreate environments, events, and interaction UI, but headsets and controllers mainly express the head and hands. For emergency handling, tactical teamwork, medical skills, and industrial safety, footsteps, center of mass, torso orientation, crouching, avoidance, proximity to danger zones, two-person collaboration, and tool posture matter as well. Without full-body data, instructors can hardly tell whether a trainee performed the motion correctly or merely triggered a virtual task node.
